Watch Dogs Legion Pre-Order Bonuses, Release Date, What's In The Collector's Edition, And More

Watch Dogs Legion, the next entry in Ubisoft’s open-world hacking series, will be a bit a different than earlier games. Rather than focus on a single protagonist, it focuses on many, and features a more systemic approach to its world. While a release date of March 6, 2020 was initially announced at E3 2019, Watch Dogs Legion has since been delayed, and the exact release date is now unknown. In a late 2019 investor call, Ubisoft revealed Watch Dogs Legion will launch during the company’s 2020-21 fiscal year, which covers the period of April 2020 to March 31, 2021. In the call, Ubisoft suggested Watch Dogs Legion will release in the second half of 2020. We do know the game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.

While the first two games took place in Chicago and San Francisco, respectively, Watch Dogs Legion moves the setting to a near-future, dystopian London. Interestingly, Legion will let players “recruit” and take control of any NPC in the game, and your character choice will actually affect how the game plays out.
