While streaming services certainly dominate the home video market nowadays, Blu-rays still frequently offer the best picture and audio and have special features you don’t get on Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. Black Friday is the perfect time to pick up Blu-ray home releases for a fraction of their retail prices. Some of the most popular movies of 2019, including Spider-Man: Far From Home, Pokemon Detective Pikachu, and Avengers: Endgame, will be steeply discounted during Black Friday sales next week.

Where to look for Black Friday Blu-ray deals
Major retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, and Target have already released their Black Friday ads. Each retailer will have tons of popular Blu-rays at incredibly low prices. Amazon’s pre-Black Friday HoliDeals sale includes a good promotion on 4K UHD Blu-rays (3 for $50). Though that particular promotion ends November 22, it’s safe to assume Amazon will have a bounty of Blu-ray deals during Black Friday weekend.
