Antonio Banderas has joined the latest incarnation of the long-in-production Uncharted movie project, according to a report from Variety. He will appear alongside Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, who are reportedly set to star as treasure hunter Nathan Drake and his mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan respectively.
The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer, who is best-known for helming 2009’s Zombieland and the recent Venom. It’s unclear what role Banderas will play. The actor recently received his first Oscar nomination at the latest Academy Awards, for his role in Pain and Glory.
